Since its inception in the mid 1950s, the legendary Porsche Speedster moniker has stood for elemental open air motoring. The Speedster recipe has always included a lower windscreen, more basic convertible top, and two seats only, giving the cars a rakish factory hot-rod look. The 356 Speedster was available with both the standard pushrod motor or the exotic racing four-cam Carrera motor, but every Speedster since has had the naturally-aspirated engine shared with a conventional 911 variant. For the 991 generation of Speedster, Porsche changed that for the first time. While the 997 Speedster was based on the Carrera GTS, the 991 Speedster is based on the GT3, a significant paradigm shift that has brought the Speedster to the next level. Using the spectacular 4.0 liter naturally-aspirated GT3 engine with 9000 RPM redline and available exclusively with a manual transmission, the 991 Speedster stays true to the philosophy of the Speedster: the most driver-oriented, visually stunning, and elemental open-air Porsche you can buy.

This Speedster has covered just 41 miles from new and was originally supplied by Porsche of Walnut Creek, California. It is finished in Miami blue with black leather interior featuring coordinated Miami blue accents to match the exterior paintwork, including painted dashboard, door, vent surround, and console trim, and seatbelts. The car was also ordered with deviated stitching in light gray, including on the floor mats. Additional options include front axle lift, lightweight bucket seats, Bose stereo system, light design package, leather air vent vanes, carbon fiber mirror triangle trims, aluminum pedals, auto-dimming mirror and rain sensor, LED headlights with PDLS, illuminated carbon fiber door sill guards, Chrono package, Porsche crest on the center armrest lid, and exterior color painted side skirts and headlight washers. The car’s total MSRP was $304,100. Since being delivered new, the car has been used extremely sparingly and remains in nearly new unmarked condition, even still wearing some of the factory-applied stickers which are ordinarily removed as part of the pre-delivery inspection process. Also included with the car are the original window sticker and books set.
